Dr.Oddie defends the Pope and the teaching of the Church

Maybe you heard this morning's piece on Radio 4's 'Today' programme where Dr. William Oddie and Martin Pendergast commented on what the Holy Father had to day about the use of condoms.Dr. Oddie gave solid and statistical reasons for the failure of condoms as a solution to Aids/hiv and Pendergast gave the same old, same old.Pendergast also said that the opponents of condom use were really quite disingenuous in this...in promoting abstinence only programmes.Within the context, I think the shameful comment above must have been aimed at the Holy Father, as well as others who uphold the teaching of the Church.
